Author Guidelines

Introduction

The International Journal of Education and Assessment (IJEA) invites contributions from scholars, researchers, and practitioners in the field of education. The following guidelines provide detailed instructions for manuscript preparation and submission.

Manuscript Types

IJEA considers the following types of manuscripts:

  • Research Articles: Original empirical studies.
  • Review Articles: Critical evaluations of existing literature.
  • Theoretical Papers: Analyses and discussions of theoretical frameworks.
  • Case Studies: In-depth examinations of specific educational practices or contexts.
  • Commentaries: Short essays on contemporary issues in education.

Submission Process

1. Online Submission

Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal's online submission system. Authors need to create an account to submit their work.

2. Formatting

Manuscripts should be submitted in a Word document format. Use a standard font (e.g., Barlow) size 12, with 1-inch margins on all sides.

3. Length

  • Research Articles: Up to 8,000 words.
  • Review Articles: Up to 10,000 words.
  • Case Studies and Commentaries: Up to 4,000 words.

Structure of Manuscripts

1. Title Page

  • Title of the paper (concise and descriptive).
  • Authors' names and affiliations.
  • Corresponding author's email address.

2. Abstract

  • A summary of the main findings (250 words maximum).
  • Include 3-5 keywords.

3. Main Text

  • Introduction: Present the research question, objectives, and significance of the study.
  • Literature Review: Brief overview of existing research relevant to the topic.
  • Methodology: Detailed description of research design, participants, instruments, and procedures.
  • Results: Clear presentation of findings, using tables and figures as necessary.
  • Discussion: Interpretation of results, implications, and recommendations.
  • Conclusion: Summary of key findings and future directions.

4. References

  • Follow APA (American Psychological Association) style for citations and references.
  • Ensure all cited works are included in the reference list.

Ethical Compliance

  • Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest.
  • Ensure that all research complies with relevant ethical standards, especially when human or animal subjects are involved.

Review Process

  • Manuscripts will undergo a double-blind peer-review process.
  • Authors may be asked to revise their manuscripts based on reviewers' feedback.

Publication Fee

A publication fee may apply upon acceptance of the manuscript. Details will be provided during the submission process.
